Catching up

So I spent Christmas week in London with RS and besides taking advantage of the christmas/boxing day sales, I made it a point that I would meet up with some friends I hadn't seen in ages.

And they all had one thing in common: they're from KTJ!

Starting from hers truly, RS.

Reunited after 1 month, in London. Wee!
(see this for our first reunion)

We made sure we grabbed the two things we love; fro-yo & bubble tea!

FYI: if you're in London and near Oxford St, be sure to stop by Selfridges to try out Pinkberry. Best frozen-yogurt I've tried so far.

Allia who's currently studying in Australia was in London for holiday so I made sure I grabbed the chance to see her. I last saw her 9-10 months back so it'd been too long.

Had lunch together with RS at Rasa Sayang, China town. Had me first nasi ayam in ages!

Met up with Pui Shan, also one month later since our last meet, and we had tea in Piccadilly. Shall blog more about this in my next post ;)

Met up with Emily who I hadn't seen since we left KTJ. That's about 1 year and a half. Too long!

The thing about friendship is that you don't necessarily have to see each other every day. I don't see my best friend everyday, heck we used to do long-term long distance before I came over to UK and when we met we'd just pick up from where we left off. It's a nice feeling because you know that with certain friendships, distance and a new lifestyle doesn't change the relationship you share. In fact I think it makes things more interesting because when you finally come to meet one another again after a period of time, you find you have too many stories to share. And then time becomes precious but you tend to cherish each moment. It's a nice feeling. And I must say Im glad I have friends who fit this category :)
